Overview
In 2024, I was off work due to a unexpected and life-changing illness.
Despite being a medical professional with over 8 years of clinical experience, certain terminology and descriptions within the medical letters I received about my condition were difficult to understand. This experience, combined with the stories of other patients, inspired me to create Cleardoc.
Cleardoc aims to break down medical jargon into plain language, helping users understand the letters, reports, and results they receive. It's all about making health communication simpler and clearer.
Impact
Cleardoc was released in July 2024 as a public beta:
- 97.6%increase in comprehension
Measured with the Flesch Reading Ease Score
- 1,000+unique visitors
Within the first 30 days of launch
